How to identify if a Seiko watch is authentic?

When we buy a Seiko watch (or another brand), how can we identify whether this is a genuine item? Someone please share the knowledge. Thank you!

This would depend on who you are buying the clock if a shop must have the papers and certificate of authenticity to the piece. Online is another story. I would recommend her Seiko find an authorized dealer or go to a site with a bizrate too high - or similar - Valuation. Otherwise, demand to see the documents Watche and serial number!
